Old aluminum slider

A contractor from Los Gatos, CA says:
Sounds like I have a broken wheel as the door grinds a bit when moving. Do you think parts are available and instructions on how to replace it?
Thank you for your time.

Hello,

Unfortunately, we can't be sure if we carry the part that you need while it is still installed. If all you need is a wheel, we offer a selection that you can look through here. You'd need to confirm the exact diameter and if the original is a concave-style wheel to determine if one of ours might work as a replacement. We'll also relate our video on replacing patio door rollers on this page but I'm not sure if your wheel might require drilling out the fastener shown in your last two photos to remove it.

A contractor from Los Gatos, CA says:
Thank you so much for your quick reply. I'll remove the door and wheel to see what I've got and move forward from there.
Have a great day!
