Parley

A quick learner from USA says:
img.0823 is a picture of the door latch mounted in the wall opposite the mortise. Img.0824 is the mortise and existing push door lock of the sliding glass patio door. Just want to replace the door latch with a locking keyed type do that one can unlock the patio door from the outside. The existing sliding patio door is a Milgard Tuscany with a push handle lock only from the inside. Hope this explains what I need to upgrade to a key lock/unlock from the outside of the sliding door.

Thanks for posting. This looks like an older version of the 82-080 Handle Set, as well as a mortise lock similar to our 82-238. If you just need a handle set with an outside key lock, all you should need to do is replace the existing handle set with our 82-081. This is a keyed version of your handle set. This will work with your door's existing mortise lock. Let me know if you have further questions.
