Part #39-031

A quick learner from USA says:
Hello,

Ordered Part #39-031. All the measurements match up, but the swing arm divots down, instead of up. It won't sit flush. Can you provide any advice?

Thank you.

Hey there, thanks for writing in!

Truth updated the design of the part, however we do have a solution that will help with the installation. I've included instructions below for what you'd need to do to reinstall the arm so that the operator will work for you.

For this project, you will also need to purchase part 62-014. You will also need a hammer and a drill.

Step One. Drill out the rivet where the link arm is connected to the gear arm.

Step Two. Line up the holes of the link arm to the gear arm of the operator and insert the rivet. Then use a hammer to flatten the rivet, in order to secure the arm in place.
