Patio door handle

A home owner from North Carolina says:

My handle doesn't lock. I think the model I need is 82-078. The problem is the part on the door frame. I don't see how this handle will lock to that part. The fixed part attached on the door frame is about 7" tall. Is there supposed to be a piece attached to the middle of that? I'll include pictures. Thank you

I agree that your photos resemble our 82-078 handle set with 6-9/16" hole center spacing but you'll need to compare the dimensions to confirm. Unfortunately, we aren't able to supply the mortise lock and keeper used with this assembly. I apologize for the inconvenience.
