Peachtree Balance Channel

A quick learner from Monroe, CT says:

We have 4 windows which do not stay open. I have dismantled some and found that some have broken springs and some have broken cords. In some cases, both are broken.Attached are photos of the window and channel. The Channel is 23.25 inches long and 1/2 inch wide, It is stamped with the # 3054. The window itself has a label showing G1988 Type A. Can you recommend a replacement channel.

Thank you,

Robert

Thanks for writing in, Robert, and many thanks for your patience. This might be our S745-23 Peachtree Balance; just go over all the specifications to confirm they match. Based on past records, your balance's stamp option of 3054 may translate to our stamp option of 22.25-3. To be safe, I'd weigh your window sash and see that exact weight falls within the weight range for the 22.25-3 Stamp Option, which is 13 through 19 lbs.
