Plastic pivot bar?

A quick learner from Connecticut says:

I can't figure out if my window had metal pivot bars, plastic, or what. This sash had one metal and one plastic on n the same window!
Which way should i go?

I suggest that you go with the metal pivot bar, 26-056. Please compare dimensions. The broken nylon one you show isn't available, unfortunately.
