REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR VISTA SLIDING DOORS

A home owner from USA says:
Hello,
This email is to start a new discussion.

We are looking to replace the rollers on our four Vista (steel frame) sliding doors. Our house is in Los Angeles, California and was built in 1948. These sliders are most likely from that same period.

At the top of the glass sliding doors is the manufacturer plate which reads: VISTA SLIDING DOORS NORTH HOLLYWOOD CALIFORNIA. Please let us know if you would have replacements for these (4) doors.

Hello,

I don't recognize this sliding roller at first glance but I'm going to have one of our senior experts take a look and see if they could recommend a replacement for you. We'll reach out as soon as more information is available. Thank you!

A home owner from USA says:
Thank you Casey. We look forward to ear more from you soon.

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:

Looking at your patio door roller, the wheel appears to be "fixed" in a way that doesn't allow it to be adjusted. Also, the locations of the mounting screws are on the side of the housing. Unfortunately, we do not carry a replacement roller assembly quite like yours.

With that being said, take a look at the 81-272 axle roller kit. This might be a solution if your roller housing can be reused. Take a look and see what you think.

A home owner from USA says:
Hi Dave. Thank you for your response and possible solution. We haven't been so lucky yet finding some who could do the work, however once we do we will certainly show them your roller kit.
Regards.
