Removing secondary patio door lock

A quick learner from Edmonton says:
My secondary patio door lock needs to be replaced. It does not seem to come off the door once the screws are removed. There secondary patio door locks that cannot be replaced? If that is the case how does not fix it. Seems like the spring is sprung. The locking mechanism does not stay down when presssed.

Hello,

We'd be happy to look into this for you but we would need to see photos of your lock to look into your replacement options and determine how you might be able to remove it. Thank you!
