Hi, I'm looking for replacement part for the Window Channel Balance stamped "38 5 FQ caldwell".

Measurements for the balance is 38" long metal channel and 1-1/8" deep bottom fittings.

Please tell me which one to buy. Thank you.

Thanks for posting. I am confident we can help replace this channel balance, but we need more information. Firstly, can you double-check the metal channel length (not including the fittings)? Usually the length of the metal channel is one number greater than the first two digits of the stamp; so for instance, a balance stamped 38-5 is usually 39" long. Please confirm.

Secondly, can you send us pictures of both fittings? I need to see if they have wings, or 'side tabs'. That will help narrow down all your potential choices. Many thanks.

Hi Bob,

Here are more photos for reference to help identify the channel balance part. The channel balance is 39" long and shown in pictures.

Thank you.

Thanks for your photos. Based on what I see here, you have either our S380-39 or S385-39, depending on the depth of the bottom shoe. That's the only difference between them. I recommend measuring your shoe and referring to our dimensions to confirm the best match.
