SWISCO 2101825

A home owner from Utah says:
I bought the swisco 82-262 as it matches up with my doors dimensions. However a few problems. One, it has a pin sticking out of the lock latch that won?t let it go through the lock latch hole. 2, it has a spring included but the directions are not clear at all as to how to install that

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:

Hello,

To install the locking actuator into the handle, you must first take the latch hook along with the spring and line up the hole and dimple in the spring with the post and divot in the hook. Place the latch hook with the spring onto the mounting base of the latch. Line up the two holes in the base with the latch hook in the correct position into the handle base. Use pressure to force the bracket onto the two posts in the handle. The base and the hook latch should press together. Now you are ready to install the handle onto the door.

Give it a try and if you're still having trouble, I would recommend getting back to us with photos of your original handle set to research this further. Thank you.
