Sash springs

A quick learner from Australia says:

Ho,

Hoping you can help me.

I have a certainteed sash window with both springs broken.

The stamp on the spring is SA 3610. Window weight is 6.9kg.

Can you suggest a replacement part?

Are you able to ship to Australia?

Many thanks.

Bob from SWISCO responded:

Hey Garry. See our 15-192 Certainteed Shoe, along with the S170-408 8 pound spring. If you replace all the springs in the window, and use one of these on either side of the window sash, that will total 16 pounds of support, which is close enough to windows actual weight range of just over 15 pounds (6.9 kg) to work correctly. You can reuse your old coil supports if they're unbroken, but if you need new ones see the 15-156 and 15-157 Drum. Finally, yes, we do ship to Australia and worldwide. Let me know if you have further questions!
