The handles are loose and a handle man examine them said they are worn out.

Thank you for reaching out to us. Given that this is a Pella door, I recommend you have a look at the 40-199 handle set. Note, the 40-191 mortise lock is sold separately. Look over the specifications for these parts and see what you think.

Yes, the 40-191 mortise lock and 40-199 handle set are fully compatible. Your next step is to check the dimensions of both parts to ensure that they line up with the hardware currently installed in your door. While they may be compatible with one another, that's no guarantee that they'll work in just any Pella door. Always make sure to check measurements before you buy anything just to be 100% sure.
