Searching for How do #70-034 actually tighten to hold a glass storm panel on a wood uninsulated entrance door

A quick learner says:
How do I use your product 70-034, for example, to hold a glass storm panel securely to an uninsulated wooden entrance door with single pane glass.

1. is your 70-034 threaded inside hole?

2. does one simply use a wood screw through the hole in 70-034 and into the door while positioning the offset piece over the glass panel?

Thanks,

Joe

Thanks for reaching out to us, Joe. The hole in the 70-034 clip is not threaded. It has a 3/16" diameter hole that takes a #8 screw like the 33-017. For a wood screens, you're going to want to use a rivnut like our 62-022 to install the clip. The video below will show you how this is usually done.
