Simonton Prism windows; manufactured 2006

A quick learner from Virginia says:
Trying to repair several double hung tilt windows. I think I identified the tilt latches correctly; they are the thicker ones so 26-243 and 26-244. However, several of my constant force balance assemblies are a mess; I had a guy out here who told me I needed "double 3/4 inch constant force balances" as well as the pivot bar with screw to fit my windows. Can you help me figure out which ones to get? Thank you...

Thanks for posting. Firstly, regarding your tilt latches: I agree the 26-243 and 26-244 look promising. Just make sure the dimensions below match what you have. Let me know if anything differs.

Next, regarding the coil balances. This old Simonton system is actually no longer made. Because of this, we've devised a substitute: the 15-259 Pivot Shoe and Series 159 Coil Balances should fit your window. We have a video that walks you through the conversion process. Check it out and let me know if you have any questions.
