I've gotten myself confused on the exact parts that I will need to replace these coils that I removed from my Simonton double hung windows.

I want to make sure that the sash pivot bars I see pictured on your site will match the pivot bars pictured. There is a number punched on the original "9808." The pivot bar on your site seems to have 3 holes but my broken one only has 2 holes.

Hello,

We offer the conversion video shown below for Simonton windows that use the type of balance assembly shown in your photos. The video also shows the 26-083 pivot bar that we recommend with this balance conversion to replace the original Simonton pivot bar shown in your photos. Take a look and let us know if you need anything else. Thank you!

A quick learner from Cincinnati OH says:
I have two coils (stacked) in the windows that I'm trying to replace...the video link appears to be for a one-coil system. Is that correct that the one-coil system will replace the original two-coil system?

Thank you!

Casey from SWISCO responded:

The amount of coils you need depends on the weight of the window sash. You would divide the weight by the number of coils on each side to choose the corresponding strength options. We also offer the 15-256 double support if you need to use two coils on each side.
