Simonton window

A handy person from Maryland says:
Hello. The piece is 1 1/4" wide, 3/4" deep and 2 3/4" long. What can I replace with this? I saw there is a coil weight, which one should I buy? Each window is weighing about 12.5 lbs.

Thanks

Hello,

Take a look at the conversion video shown below for Simonton windows that use this type of assembly. For a 12-1/2" pound sash, I would recommend using one S159-6 coil on each side of the window. Thanks for posting!
