A home owner from Bloomingdale GA 31302 says:

Looking to replace the roller assemblies for my patio sliding door, aluminum door.

I do not know the brand of the door nor model number.

I already sent a separate request under your Contact Us.

Thank you,

John

Hi John,

Thanks for posting! The roller in your photos appears to be missing its outer housing; it may likely still be installed in the door. Although, it is hard to tell from the photos.

Since this is Allen Stevens, you could consider our 81-278 Patio Roller Assembly made with a 1-1/2" Steel Ball Bearing Wheel. To confirm if this would be a fit for your repairs, you'll want to double check the door and remove the outer housing so that you can accurately compare the dimensions.

I have removed the outer housing for the roller assembly. I have included photos of the unit with dimensions. It does appear that your 81-278 assembly closely matches the one from my sliding patio door. A question: Is the Phillip head screw shown on the side of the 81-278 the adjustment screw for the roller? The other threaded hole above it should then be the mounting screw hole?

Please look at the photos of my assemble to see what you think.

Also, would you have the plastic upper door guides as shown in the photos?

Thank you for your help.

John

Hi John,

Yes, that is correct, the screw on the bottom is the adjustment screw and the one of the top is the mounting screw.

We do not carry an exact replacement match for your patio door guide but there are a few you may possibly be able to adapt to fit your door. Take a look at our 86-001 Nylon Top Guide and our 86-010 Patio Door Top Guide. Carefully review and compare their dimensions and design to see if either of them could potentially work for you.
