Sliding door tandem roller Revere 6400? series

A quick learner from Denton, TX Dallas-Ft. Worth area says:
This is a tandem roller on a Revere sliding patio door. Door is one of two sliders with 2 solid panels. Unit is 12 ft wide and 8 ft tall. Approximately 12-13 years old. Tandem wheel unit looks like your 81-156 model with end adjust. The 81-156 shows to be 1.5" width/tall on the carriage unit where the unit on the door is only 1-1/8" or 1-3/16" wide/tall. All other measurements work. The measurements on my unit are the same as your 81-018 unit but the 81-018 slopes over the wheels and my unit is solid rectangular over the wheels. The 81-018 unit is side adjust and my unit is end or edge adjust. The width on my unit is the same as both of yours ( sorry don't have a pic of tape measure on width but I did record the measurement). Wheels on mine are 1-1/4" diameter. Screw holes at 5-3/4" are same. Will the 81-156 work on door or is it too deep? The 81-018 will fit if it will work but I will have to drill holes in door side for side adjustment and use plastic plug to cover hole. Would best option be to get the 1-1/4" roller and axle kit 81-266 and use the original tandem wheel carriage? Thank you for you help. It is greatly appreciated!

Hello,

The 81-156 seems to be our closest match to your roller since we could not find a replacement with the same height. I recommend checking your patio door bottom rail to see if you have the 1-1/2" height to install the 81-156 roller. If you can't fit the 81-156 in the door, I'm honestly not sure if you could adapt the 81-018 to work for your application. If your housing is in good working order, the 81-266 roller and axle kit might be your best solution. Take a look at the related videos to assist you and elt us know if you have any other questions. Thank you.

Thank you for getting back to me. I will do as you advised and see if the extra room is there for a new unit and if not will order the wheel kit. Thanks again for your help.
