Sliding patio door handle

A quick learner from Colorado says:

Looking for a replacement handle for my aluminum double pane sliding patio door. Installed in late 80's. I'm certain it was purchased at a local big box store, Lowes or Home Depot.

Please start by reviewing the style and dimensions of the 82-002 handle set to see how it compares to your original. This handle set is compatible with the 88-009 and 88-002 pulls. I am not sure what type of part you are showing in the last photo. Is this part of the door? Please provide further detail for our review. Thank you!
