Plastic snap-in glazing from original aluminum windows from house built in Denver in 1968.
Single glazed; 11" x 11" panes; entire house full of similar windows.
No names or markings on gray plastic snap-in glazing pieces; No window brand info.
There are two sizes of plastic pieces with cross-section #1 being the smaller one. Larger piece is labelled cross-section #2 in dimension drawing.
Both came from the same window and have similar but slightly different cross-section shapes. The smaller piece has a slight jog at the end of the curved section similar to type
55-196. The larger piece is straight at the end of the curved section more like type #
55-006.
Pieces are very old and deformed so it is difficult to know what the exact original shape and sizes actually were.
Is it likely that these two different types were used in the original windows or is it more likely that there was a repair somewhere through the years?
Do you think that I'll need to order more than one type?
Which do you recommend?
