Sunair aluminum window balance #2140

A quick learner from Carlsbad, California says:

Good day- I have 2 windows that appear to have balances that are broken or close to breaking. There are no window clips in any of the frames, so I will need those as well. Appreciate any assistance you may provide to make sure I order the appropriate parts. Thank you. Chris

Hey Chris. I see the bottom attachment, or shoe, of this balance has what we call 'wings', or those side tabs. I can't tell if the top fitting has them as well. Does it look like our 19-002, which lacks wings? Or does it resemble the 19-005, which has them? Let me know if both fittings in fact have wings. If only the bottom shoe does though, then this is probably an S350-28 Channel Balance, and you would choose 2140 as the stamp option. For take-out clips, you probably need the 16-002, but you might want to check a window that still has them intact just to confirm they match up. Let me know if you have further questions.
