Tackle hook broke

A quick learner from Virginia says:
Hi,

The shoe tackle hook broke. I'm trying to identify the part. It says 36 c on the show tackle and balance. It's seems like 841 series. I just need the hook. Can you please help me identify?

Thanks!

Hello,

We'd be happy to help but we will need to see an undamaged pulley clip from an undamaged balance, as well as the fitting attached to the opposite end of the metal channel, to confirm the correct replacement hook. Thank you!

Thanks for getting back to us. It's possible that your channel balance may use a pulley clip like the 15-198 shown below, but we can't be sure with it installed. If the dimensions below match your hook, you would gently pull the cord out and carefully place it under pressure in a vice or in a vice grip. Make sure to wear safety glasses like our 75-078. Then, remove the old clip and replace it with a new one. Take note that if you have older balances and the clip is worn, it's normally a sign that the balances may need to be replaced soon.
