Truth window latch

A home owner from California says:

I would like to buy a replacement Truth latch. See photo: The latch shown is the right style Truth latch, but the wrong item: The window frame it is installed on has its hinges on the right side of the window frame. When the lever is in the up position, the latch locks, and when it is in the down position, it opens. It should work the opposite?open in up position and lock in down position. All the other Truth latches in my home, identical style to this one, open in up and lock in down.

The rectangular back of the latch measures 3"H x 2 5/8"W.

Is it possible to buy a proper replacement in this style?

I live in area code 90275.

Thank you for your help.

Hello,

We have come across this casement window lock in the past but have not been able to locate an exact match. I suspect that it may be an older version of our 38-097 and 38-098. Look over the specifications below and see what you think. If so, you would also need new 38-079 keepers to work with them. Thanks for posting!
