A home owner from Kennewick, WA says:
Metal portion is 18", window sash weighs 15 1/2 pounds

Markings on original channel balances are the following 17 4 GT CMC 2

I have included some photos as well.

I'm thinking it might be the 18" series 380 with the 1740 option.

Hello,

I believe that we can supply the replacement balances that you need but I suspect that the metal piece at the end of the pulley cord attaches to the spring inside the balance channel. We would also like to see the clip at the end of an undamaged balance that connects to the window jamb to install the balance. That will help us confirm that our replacements install the same way. Thank you!

I hope this helps.

Thanks again for your time

Thanks for getting back to us. With this combination of attachments, you could have either the S380-18 or S385-18 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment.

You'll also need 1740 spring strength options for your replacement balances. Thank you and let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
