Thanks for posting. Channel balances are identified by the combination of fittings on both ends. If you can send clear pictures of both fittings, or attachments, we should be able to narrow it down. Also, please confirm the length of the metal channel; do not include the fittings in this measurement. We'll do our best to assist from there.

A quick learner says:
Thank you for getting back. Attached new pictures of both ends. The length is 24 inches.

Thanks for the response. Are these balances in fact from the same window? If so, that's a bit unusual, since they have different attachments. Balances from the same window should be identical. You might want to check another window in the house to see what is likely the original: the balance that has fittings with wings, or those side tabs; or, the balance that has fittings with no wings.

The balance with wings is probably either our S380-24 or S385-24. The balance without tabs is either an S350-24 or S390-24. The only difference between each set of balances is the depth of the bottom fitting, or what we call the shoe. See the illustrations below for reference. Measure your old balance's shoe to determine what matches best.

You then have to choose a stamp option, which designates the strength of the balance. If the balances are stamped 2340, then go with that. Let us know if you have further questions about any of this.
