Hello, thank you for posting,

Unfortunately the balance shown is too damaged to identify. Is it from a tilt in or non-tilt window application? Do you have any undamaged version installed that we could see? Did it have any attachments attached to the pulley cord? Thank you!

A landlord from Indianapolis says:
It is a tilt window. I have included pictures of the opposite side of the window showing how the balance is installed on that side. There is a stamp on that one that is different than the damaged one. There was nothing attached to the pulley cord when we removed the balance.

Thank you,

It appears the balance attaches to a pivot shoe. To further review, are you able to remove the sash from the pivot shoes where we can see how the balance attaches to the shoe?

I believe you may have the Series 770 channel balance, but I need to see if yours uses the same terminal clip to engage with the pivot shoe.

Please also confirm the length of the metal channel and the weight of the window sash. The sash will need to be removed and placed on a scale. Thank you!
