Hi. Looking to replace broken parts on an old window. Coil spring is stamped with the #540. Any help would be greatly appreciated. No other markings are visible anywhere.

Your balance assembly resembles an older version of the 15-180 pivot shoe that is compatible with the Series 190 coil springs. Please review the overall style and dimensions to confirm a good fit!

For a coil stamped with #540, please review the S190-540 coil spring that can support 5 pounds of weight. This is added together with the other coils to support the whole weight of the sash. Let us know if you have any additional questions!
