Window Replacement Hardwares

A contractor from Florida says:
I'm looking for new hardwares for my PGT windows - operators and everything.

I have approximately 35 casement windows total, combination of left hand and right hand.

I would really like to get STAINLESS STEEL HARDWARES since I live near the beach and the existing hardwares have corroded to the point where I cannot open some of the windows.

A Swisco agent thought maybe 39-253LB but my current operator has a different screw pattern than the part you suggested - see new photo. Will it fit? Or will I need to drill for new pattern?

Thanks for posting. I agree, the 39-253LB and 39-253RB are promising. I don't think the hole pattern will be an issue; these replacement operators have a sill plate that basically try and cover as many different possible hole spreads as possible, hence why they have more. It would be very unusual if none of them aligned with your old operator's mounting holes. Note you don't need to use every mounting hole on the new plate for it to be installed correctly.

Now, you should also look at the 39-438B and 39-439B. This pair is very similar to the 39-253LB and 39-253RB, except the latter pair uses a square shaped track slide, the 39-529 sold separately. The 39-438B and 39-439B have a rectangular slider instead, that comes with the operator. Check your old operator's slide shoe to see which matches best.

In either case, for new covers and handles, see the 39-375 and 39-376 or 39-451 and 39-452, depending on the style you prefer.

I am afraid neither of these operator types come in a stainless variety, though both are coated in an electrostatic powder that make them resistant to corrosion. However, you show the casement window hinges in your photos as well. If you need to replace them, see our stainless steel 10" 36-004-10. See if these match the dimensions of your old hinges. Let me know if you have further questions.
