Window Weather Stripping

A quick learner from fort myers, fl says:

Hi,

My condo was built in 2004 and still has the original Alcan windows installed. I just replaced the 5/8" top sash guides (which you provided, 18-166) on 2 of my windows and I noticed that the weather stripping at the bottom of the windows was completely dry rotted so I need to replace that. However, I can't find the weather stripping on your site. The weather stripping is a black vinyl or rubber strip which snaps into the bottom of the windows. Do you have that item? Let me know. Thanks.

Hello!

Hmmm, a weatherstrip that snaps in doesn't sound familiar to us. However, according to our records, Alcan windows like to use black "T" strip bubble seals. With that said, our 58-134 may work if the dimensions line up but this is honestly just a guess. I would need you to remove an undamaged sample and show us a clear photo of the end profile to know for sure.
