Window balance

A quick learner from Orlando, Florida says:
House was built in 1968.
Balance has the number "18" embedded on the fromt
There is no lever on the framework to pull up to hold the balance in place to remove the window.
It is a 1/2 w channel

We believe you have an old Pan Am window. This window used a specific combination of nylon fittings on their balance that isn't standard; specifically, they used a 19-035 top and the 15-007 bottom.

We can custom make a balance with these attachments, if you want, but we will need a bit more information to get started. Please give us the length of the metal channel and the precise weigh of your sash. I'd also like to know how many you need. Thanks!
