Window balance identification- Non Tilt

A handy person from Portland,OR says:

Replacing a pair of balances on a Non-Tilt window. Length is 33", width is 1/2" (9/16). Stamp found above the foot reads 32DS PB40. (Picture included). Need some help to ID the correct balance. Thank you, Carl

Hello there! Thank you for reaching out to us. We can help with this though we'll need more information. Can you show us a photo of the inside of the metal channel where the innerspring connects to the pulley mechanism? The balance shown here appears to be damaged so you will need to use an undamaged version as a reference.

Yes, thanks so much! Our S380-33 or S385-33 should be a good match. You'll have to measure as shown below to determine the proper Series for your repair. We don't have your original 32DS38 stamp option but you may be able to use the 3265 stamp for the replacements. A pair of balances with this stamp will carry a sash weighing 35 to 39 pounds. However, you can always weigh the window sash on a scale to confirm the weight falls within this range.
