Channel Balance Replacement

A quick learner from Ft. Myers, Florida says:
Hi,
I need a block and tackle window balancer for a hurricane impact window sash. It says "Stamp F." If I understand correctly, that would be Stamp 2860.
thank you,

Hello,

Your balance assembly reminds me of the S390-29 at first glance but you'll need to confirm that your bottom fitting matches the 1" depth shown below. As for your stamp, you are correct that 28F would generally correspond to the 2860 strength option for this type of balance. To be sure, you can weigh your sash to confirm that it falls within the 32-35 lbs range supported by this strength option. Thank you!

Hi, thanks for the response. The bottom bracket is 1" as shown in the picture. It actually looked like 15/16" but you probably just call it 1"? The metal channel itself is 1/2" on each side. My customer is going to order the part herself so I need to give her the exact info.
Thanks,
-Mike

We are not able to confirm the exact shoe depth from a photo but we also offer the 7/8" deep 15-029 bottom fitting. Please note that it would need to be a custom order since this shoe does not come with any of our stock balances. If you'd like to go the custom route, we would need to know the number of balances that you need to replace with the minimum being two. I would also encourage you to confirm the exact sash weight since custom orders can not be returned for a refund if the spring calibration is off.
