I previously ordered 90-077A. Will 2-1/16" is correct for installation holes.... It was too wide

Thanks for posting. Sorry that the 90-077A did not work out for you. What do you mean by 'too wide'? I suspect you are referring to the 'backset', or the distance between the center of the mounting holes and the back edge of the lock body. The 90-077A has a backset of 7/16". From what you show, your lock needs a larger one than that. The 90-278 has a backset of 11/16", and the same hole spacing. Please compare and let me know what you think.
