Window sash counterbalance

A home owner from Milwaukie, OR says:
I have a window which needs to have the counterbalances replaced.

It's a Milgard. The sash tilt's in for screen replacement and cleaning. The length of the square aluminum tubing is 21". The sash weighs 20 lbs. There's a number stamped into the Aluminum: 2040. Does this tell you enough to ID the parts I need? Please let me know if you need any more info.

Thanks,
Jens

Hello,

Your channel balance resembles the S395-21 with a 2040 strength option. Take a look and compare the specifications to your assembly. Thanks for posting!
