Window side balances DH not flip out

A quick learner from Plymouth MI 48170 says:
Hello. I have 25 yr old windows that were installed during new construction in 1998. The window manufacturer was out of Canada.

Right now I need 6x 25in and 6x 31in. I will order more later. Ple see attached pics. Ple provide part #s so I can place order.

Thanks for your photos. Based on what I see here, you have either our Series 351 or Series 390, depending on the depth of the bottom shoe. That's the only difference between them. I recommend measuring your shoe and referring to our dimensions to confirm the best match.

A quick learner from Plymouth MI 48170 says:
I think I need S351 part. Although I need to know exactly where to measure the shoe because is at an angle. If I measure straight across and perpendicular to the aluminum bar its 1in. If I measure on angle its closer to 1 1/8??? Thank you

You don't want to measure at an angle, no. What you're looking for is the overall depth, back to front. The goal is to ensure that your replacement balance has a shoe that will fit comfortably in the track while braced against the sash, rather than being too tight.
