Does the cap that houses the crank arm and worm gear drive have a removal screw (accessible), or is it press fitted
(no accessible) for grease and lube purposes?

The 39-268 uses a screw to attach the cover to the base as shown in your photo. Just let us know if you have any other questions and thanks for posting.
