Wool pile weather stripping

A quick learner from Louisiana says:
The weather stripping on my windows has disintegrated. The windows are single pane aluminum, the house was built in 1970. The backing measures 1/4 inch, I do not know the length of the pile. Can you make a suggestion? I have 28 windows

Thanks for posting. I'm afraid we don't have a wool pile with a base that is exactly 1/4". We do have loads with a base incrementally close to that, such as ones with 3/16" or 9/32" bases. Wool pile measurements are very discrete, going into the X/32" range, so I am afraid you have to be precise as possible when measuring this. It's difficult to tell if it really is 1/4" from the photo alone due to perspective. Similarly, without knowing the height of the pile in similar precision, I am afraid it will be impossible to really pinpoint what definitely could work for you. There's too much possibility. I apologize for the inconvenience. The video below goes into more detail as how to identify wool pile dimensions. If you can by chance produce those exact dimensions, we'll do our best to find something that can work for you. Many thanks.
