balance repalcement

A home owner from Massachusetts says:
Hello. I am looking to replace a a block & tackle balance for a non tilt window. the balance is 9/16 wide. and measures 36"
I believe it may be the series 390 channel balance. the bottom shoe is 1 1/8. It has a stamp on it 35-2 (is this the sash weight? I don't know (pictures enclosed)
Thank You

Hello,

I agree that as long as your bottom fitting measures 1-1/8" deep, then the S390-36 would be the way to go. Your stamp would correspond to the 3520 strength option, which will support a sash weight between 13-18 lbs. Take a look and let us know if you have any other questions.
