broken #5.5 35" coil spring in a dual coil balancer

A handy person from San Jose, CA says:
hi

The dual coil springs have one #4.5 35" and one #5.5 35" coil springs (232208 is printed on #4.5 coil). The #5.5 35" coil spring was broken into halves.

the sash weights about 17.6 lbs.

which part should I order to replace the broken #5.5 coil spring?

Thanks for posting. If the coil balances are 1/2" thick, then you have Series 160 Coil Balances. For one of these springs that are stamped 5.5, you can use the S160-5 5.5 pound spring. Let me know if you have any other questions!
