I'm looking for a comparable replacement for my channel balance for my tilt windows. The encryption on the channel is k 30TGX. I would appreciate your help in providing some guidance.

This balance looks similar to our Series 751, but your metal channel is very obviously the "plain" style, not "ribbed" like ours. That means this will have to be a custom order.

Before I go any further, I need a bit more information from you. First, can you confirm the length of the metal channel? Can you also tell me the exact weight of the sash these balances support? Finally, how many did you need?

A home owner from illinois says:

Thanks for your response. The metal channel is 31" long. The window weighs 26lbs. I'm looking for 6 on these channels.

thanks,

Thanks, Tom. So what we're going to do is set you up with a custom configuration. Specifically, it would be our S770-31 channel balance with a 31D stamp option; two balances with a 31D spring can carry 24 through 29 pounds, so it should be perfect for your sash.

However what makes this custom is that we're swapping out the bottom terminal clip for the 15-014 shoe, instead. This shoe matches what you show in your photos above.

Does that look good to you? I'm going to email you an order link and price quote now for six of these. Let me know if you had any questions or wanted to make any changes.
