glazing bead and cutting

A handy person from Waite Hill, Ohio says:
What is the best way to cut the proper angle on the ends of the bead? Which side / surface is the angle relative to? Do you have a diagram?

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:

Hello,

Depending on the type of glazing bead I would normally use a good pair of scissors or Wiss cutters. I also line up a piece of the old glazing bead with the new glazing bead to get the correct profile to cut. Take a look at the related videos and let us know if you have any additional questions.
