more narrow screen door roller needed

A quick learner from North Carolina says:
Hi- I am trying to repair a loose screen door top on a sliding glass door. I bought a primeline B-714, which is perfect, EXCEPT the 3/8th inch bracket. The broken one (seen as the silver one in my pics) is 1/4 inch. Do any exist to replace it? Even a replacement spring clip? The old wheel is fine, but the long part of the spring clip has broken off, and that's why it was not working. I can't wedge the new one in there (and probably shouldn't try).

I just bought this place, so no way of knowing the company who made the door, or who installed it.
HELP!

Hi Shannon,

Thanks for reaching out to us! Your existing screen door roller is an older style that, unfortunately, is no longer made. The roller you purchased, which appears to be our 84-016 Screen Door Roller can be installed but it would require spreading the cavity open wider to give the roller clearance to fit into the frame. It is not an idea solution but that is the solution, we know of, at this time.

I hope this helps!

Please feel free to reach out with any other questions you might have.
