Thanks for posting. The handle set looks like our 89-020. However, the handle set is likely not to blame; instead, the mortise lock may be broken. The mortise lock is inside the door and interfaces with the handle. It has the teeth that latches to that part in your photos that's on the door frame (what we call the keeper). To test whether the mortise lock is broken or not, remove the handle set from the door and try manually 'throwing' the lock with a slotted screwdriver. If it doesn't budge, then you know it's broken and needs to be replaced. The 82-090 can work with a few different mortise locks, so please send us photos of the mortise lock so we may identify it for you. |

Thanks! This mortise appears to match our 82-218. However, before you buy it, make sure to test it as I described previously. There's a good chance it's still in good working condition. What you want to do is test to confirm this. If it's not, the 82-218 is always an option. I'm not familiar with the Denver area so I can't make a recommendation for a store, unfortunately. Delivery time will depend on which shipping option you select during checkout; we offer multiple different options. |
