replacement parts

A home owner from Fayetteville, NC says:
Single coil window balance (I think that is the correct term for the part(s)) for tilt out vinyl windows. Within the case with the philips screw is wide coil that allows the lower part of the window to open and close smoothly.

Hello there!

I recommend you take a look at the 15-259 pivot shoe along with the Series 159 coil springs. The video below will go over the details regarding the replacement process. Let us know if you have any questions!

A home owner from Fayetteville, NC says:
Thank you so much! I will order the parts, but I'm not sure which spring weight select. The broken coils don't seem to have the spring weight stamped on them, but the number 4098 (or maybe 409S) is etched on one of the coils. Does that maybe give a clue to the coil weight?

I'm afraid these stamps don't tell us what weights you'd need. If you can get back to us with the precise weight of the sash, we can calculate the spring weights from there.
