replacement spring

A handy person from Florida says:

has a label of 29 4 HW CMC 7.

The metal frame is 30 inches long that does not include the plastic parts just the metal frame. It looks like the clip on my window is broken so I will need replacements for them also.

Thank You for your time

Jamie

Hey Jamie. I am confident we can help, but I'd like to verify one detail before proceeding. Can you show me a picture of how the spring and pulley connect in the 'guts' of the metal channel? I just want to be sure I know how these components were set up before making a recommendation, as we have found this is a relevant data point. From there we should be able to narrow this down for you. Many thanks.

That's perfect, thank you. This looks like either an S380-30 or S385-30 Channel Balance. The only difference between these two balances is the depth of that bottom nylon shoe, or its measurement from 'heel' to 'toe'. See the illustration below for reference. Compare both balances with your old hardware to see what matches best. In either case, for a stamp option choose 2940. Let me know if you have any questions.
