replacement window part

A home owner from NY, Long Islad. says:
Please let me know the reference that I need to order to match the piece that is in the attached.
I though the parts 39-171 and 39-172 will be good, but they are 1/2 inch bigger from the center.
Could you please help me on this matter, and also which handle I need to order that fits.

Thank you for reaching out to us! I'm afraid the 39-171 and 39-172 are our closest matches for what you show here. With that said, you have two options. You can adjust the position of the bracket to which the arm attaches. In other words, you could theoretically move it over on the sash to make up the difference in size. This will require drilling new holes for it to screw into.

The other option is to swap the link arms out. This is done by drilling out the link arms on both operators, then installing the old arm on the new operator hammering on our 62-014 rivet over a metal plate.

For a compatible handle, see the 39-205 or 39-114L depending on your preference.

Ok. I see..and what about the part 39-326.. will fit as well? I am really worry about to have to drill and play with the pieces that I have and won't be able to put everything back together.. do you have any tutorial about how to do this type of adjustment?

Emily from SWISCO responded:

No, the 39-326 won't work for you. This part uses a different bracket and we always recommend sticking with the original hardware your window is designed to use. If you're not comfortable with this repair, you could always contact a local professional for assistance.
