unidetified object

Hello Folks,
Hope this message finds you well and with Kindred Spirits.
See Photo.
Found this unidetified object whilst replacing the old Window Lock and Keeper with the 90-027.
This item fell out and was under the Window Lock half of the set.
Can you identify?
Are there replacements?
Is it some sort of Shim or Leaf Spring?
What say you people of Swisco.

Hello! Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to say that I don't recognize the piece in your window and don't really have any idea what it might be. It looks too thick to be a spring, while at the same time too thin to be anything else. Odds are its an internal mechanism of some kind, fallen out of a larger assembly.

Your best bet is to probably check another, identical window in the house to see what kind of hardware it uses and to see if you can spy this component amongst the other pieces installed on that window.
