wood casement window operator

A quick learner from greensboro nc says:
wood casement window. operater seems to be made of brass and the extension for the handle seems to be steel. I just need something that might replace it not an exact replica, the only markings on it say IVES pat pend. its from a 1920s house and i need one for a left opening window and 1 for a right opening window.

Thanks for writing in! I believe our 39-268 Wood Casement Window Operator may be worth considering as a replacement. Given the age of the window and the hardware, I am not confident that this operator will work but take a look over the dimensions and design to see if this is something you might be able to get to work on your window. This can be used for both the left and right side of the window.

You can expect a moderate amount of handiwork necessary to retrofit this part for the window. See what you think!
