First photo, top roller assembly is door original. Second photo, roller assembly on left is original. The problem: I ordered part 81-138. It seemed correct. The assembly is same, but the wheels are 1 1/8" diameter. The original wheels are 1". I can't get the wheels to retract enough to clear the bottom edge to slip into track.
Is there an assembly like 81-138 with wheels of 1" (or even 15/16" would be good). If you enlarge the photos you can see the size difference when side by side.

Hello, Glen. I'm sorry to hear that the 81-138 didn't work. Unfortunately, we don't have a roller in this style with a 1" diameter wheel. That's not a common size for patio glass doors, due to how big they generally get. Is your old wheel in good condition? It may be possible to drill out the wheels and then install the old ones on the new housing. We sell axle kits like the 81-310 that would help you to this end. If that's not possible, though, then I'm afraid we don't have an alternative for you. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience. You can at least see our return policy here. |
