frameless shower door seal

I purchased item # 10-334 , the 3/8 frameless shower door seal, to replace an old one. With some effort, it fit on the bottom of the door but the soft lip at the bottom prevented the door from opening and closing. It made the bottom of the door to tight to the step in. It seemed to be the same product that was used before though that one was very worn. Do you sell them without the lip or does that defeat the purpose? Any suggestions? That would probably defeat the purpose, yes. It sounds like maybe your old sweep was shorter, but I'm not sure. You mention that it was worn down, but do you have a sample that isn't quite as worn? If so, measure it and let us know what you get. The sweep for the 10-334 is 1/4" long.

I am looking to purchase this product for my new sliding glass shower door that still allows water to splash out onto the floor. I can't put it on the bottom of the glass because of an installed door guide on the bottom. But I can install on the edges of the glass doors to prevent splashing.

My question is: will this product work on glass that is 5/16" thick?

Hi Keith, This seal is now available in the needed thickness, 5/16". Take a look at new SWISCO items 10-340 , for a 96" length, and 10-341 , for a 32-1/2" length.
